Dawud Ali, Founder/ CEO of A Friend In Knead, masterfully blends arts, entertainment, spirituality and holistic living. As a master massage therapist, entrepreneur and advocate for wellness, Dawud founded A Friend In Knead to bring the benefits of relaxation and therapeutic massage to workplaces, events and individuals seeking balance in their lives.
Dawud is recognized as an Approved Provider by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the American Institute of Massage Therapy, where he shares his passion by training the next generation of therapists. He holds the prestigious title of Gold Metal winner of the 2024 New Jersey Massage Championships.
Beyond his expertise in massage therapy, he is a talented musician and certified audio engineer. Dawud’s dedication to community service is evident through his role as CEO of Ali Cultural Arts and Mentoring Program (ACAMP), a nonprofit organization that provides music and fine arts education in the Bronx NY, and serves as Board Chair of Ability Beyond Sight (ABS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to revolutionizing training and employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired to become massage therapists.
